Fr. Tolton Catholic High School in Columbia, Missouri currently has an opening for a receptionist. Responsibilities: ? Screen all visitors while offering polite, professional customer service ? Respond to phone calls and emails from parents, students, faculty, staff, and outside parties ? Complete a broad variety of administrative tasks ? Assist with special projects, such as graduation planning ? Design and produce documents, reports, and presentations ? Maintains a variety of computerized and manual records, files, and department databases (e.g. information packets, rosters/listings, calendars, etc.) for the purpose of documenting activities, providing reliable information and complying with school, diocesan, state and federal requirements ? Assist with tracking student attendance and enforcing rules regarding truancy ? Assist students with basic health needs ? Performs other duties as assigned by the President Qualifications: ? Able to maintain a high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information ? Ability to react with appropriate levels of urgency to situations and events that require quick response or turnaround ? Strong verbal and written communication skills ? Computer and organizational skills ? A high attention to detail ? Ability to complete a high volume of tasks with limited supervision ? Ability to multitask with frequent interruptions Hours: ? Full-time position ? Some overtime during the academic school year ? Average 20 - 25 hours per week during June and July Physical Demands and other requirements: ? Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks such as computer keyboarding, writing, and reading ? Required to monitor students in a variety of locations including those with noise and activity ? Required to maintain composure and to communicate appropriately in words and actions
