As a Receptionist, you serve as the initial welcoming face responsible for ensuring a smooth and professional experience for the client. As the first point of contact, you will greet visitors warmly, provide direction, and answer any general inquiries. This is a multifaceted role that requires strong interpersonal skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. Your role may vary from time to time depending on the current needs of the office. KEY FUNCTIONS: This position requires the employee to be well versed in multiple areas of the company. Your daily responsibilities may change, depending on the need. You will receive all necessary training to excel in this position. Some of the key functions of this position are:
- Greet visitors as they enter the office.
- Handle incoming calls professionally, taking messages, and transferring calls to the proper person.
- Perform drug screenings as required.
- Data entry of clients into the appropriate software.
- Attend court proceedings as a liaison for the company and complete necessary paperwork.
- Install, remove, and maintain electronic monitoring devices.
- Collect payment from clients. Balance and make deposits for payments received.
- Responsible for the general cleanliness and organization of the reception area.
- Various administrative duties such as handling mail and sorting and filing documents.
- Assist with the scheduling of appointments and meetings.
- Answer general inquiries from visitors and clients.
Requirements QUALIFICATIONS:
- Basic knowledge of criminal justice procedures.
- Must have excellent customer service, communication, and problem solving skills.
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Work, Outlook, Excel, etc.)
- Ability to build rapport with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- At least 21 years of age.
- Pass a background check and drug screening.
- Must have a reliable source of transportation.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Valid auto insurance.
