Job DetailsJob Location Carolina Country Club - Raleigh, NC Position Type Part Time Job Shift Any Job Category Admin - Clerical DescriptionJob Summary:Part Time Weekends - Saturday and Sunday 2pm - 9pm The Receptionist serves as the Clubs Ambassador and welcomes members, guests and prospects to ensure all receive platinum level service during his or her time at the Club. This position assists with administrative support to the Membership Director and other department heads as needed. Answers and directs all phone calls with a high level of professionalism and respect. This individual will embody the Carolina Country Employee Mission and Absolutes. - Interacts and works with members (addresses with their surname), guests, job candidates and fellow team members in a positive, friendly, confident and professional manner and escorts as needed to the appropriate location of the club
- Provides concierge like service.
- Maintains and provides a schedule of events and other Club information to members and guests
- Answers all incoming telephone calls with the highest level of professionalism, transfers calls to the proper extensions and notates and distributes messages accordingly
- Takes and accurately maintains records of reservations in the Reservations Book as well as on the website for the Loggia/Terrace, Club Events and Bridge. Follows up with confirmation of all reservations.
- Properly executes and coordinates Take Out orders and Gourmet to Go Orders between member and kitchen.
- Responsible for knowing what is going on at the Club on a day-to-day basis and provides information to members regarding events.
- Prepares and maintains general correspondence.
- Performs general office tasks but not limited to word processing to assist the other department heads and provides administrative assistance for other assigned personnel as requested or needed.
- Responsible for maintaining a minimum amount of Employee Application Packets, New Hire Packets, Pictorial Directories and By-Laws, Rules and Roster Binders.
- Assists Accounting with check deposit.
- Sorts and distributes incoming mail in department mailboxes.
- Receives deliveries from FedEx, UPS USPS and other delivery services
- Maintains the office area to keep it neat and clean.
- Assists with lost and found items by tracking and safeguarding these items.
- Is responsible for knowing CCC Employee Policies and working by the CCC Mission Statement.
