Reports To: Records Manager

Summary Description: The Records Management Clerk is a vital position to the Firm that ensure all files are properly opened, closed, stored, and maintained.

Essential Functions: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • Facilitates the record retention program to ensure adequate security and safeguarding of client files
  • Facilitates the review, organization, indexing and transfer of files to clients or outside third parties
  • Processes daily downloads for opening new files, and prints and distributes new files
  • Tracks and maintains the location of files for local office
  • Assists in file closing, updates records and prepares for storage including record retention timelines
  • Performs edits of the client files in Tab Fusion
  • Generates additional subfolders

Preferred Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Work experience in an office setting

Supervisory Responsibilities: N/A

Physical Activity: The employee will be required to sit for prolonged periods and work on a computer; some physical lifting and bending will be required; employee should be able to lift a minimum of 5 pounds
