General Description:
Maintain organized in-house storage system for files and keep track of all off-site file storage.
Key Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions:
* Filing, computerized indexing and maintenance of active files in a centralized location.
* Preparation of files for off-site storage.
* Liaison with off-site storage company.
* Maintain current index of off-site files.
* Review all off-site storage invoices.
* Special project and duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
* Interpersonal and organizational skills.
* Knowledge of general office IG policies, procedures, and practices.
* Knowledge of English grammar, punctuation, spelling, and arithmetic.
* Knowledge of court system, legal terminology, and organizational skills, as well as the ability to perform a variety of complex administrative duties.
* Ability to proof own work and the work of others.
* Ability to instruct new employees.
* Ability to use various computer systems, software, and office equipment.
* Ability to exercise excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing.
* Ability to perform accurate computations and verification of data.
* Ability to work with confidential and/or sensitive data.
Required Qualifications & Education:
* Bachelor's Degree and/or equivalent work experience.
* 2-3 years of experience.
* Light typing ability (40+ WPM).
* Time management ability.
Physical Requirements:
* Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
* Moderate or advanced keyboard usage
* Ability to lift heavy boxes at a minimum of thirty pounds.
