Job Description :
Description The Recovery Services Manager is responsible for working with the Recovery Team to provide advocacy and facilitate deliverable [program] services. They serve as models for guests in treatment while sharing hope and guidance throughout the program experience. The Recovery Services Manager is directly involved with providing quality services to our guests in an environment of love, grace, dignity, and respect. A Recovery Services Manager is someone who has agreed to assist others in their recovery journey and help them avoid relapse. • Warmly greet all guests, including, but not limited to, visitors, volunteers, vendors, staff, guests, donors; community groups, church groups, and public officials, • Establish and build healthy Christ-honoring relationships with guests, while maintaining the Code of Ethics as it pertains to professional certification [i.e. Pastoral, Coaching, Counseling]. The Transformation Recovery Coach does not focus on clinical work, but they must still be capable of responding in professional, ethical ways, including cultural responsiveness and trauma-informed best practices. • Under the leadership of the Director of Recovery Program and Senior Director of Program, maintain the Recovery Teams Standard of Excellence. • Monitor and oversee the day-to-day activities of the Recovery Team. • Ensure recovery team follows Program Guidelines and Protections. • Facilitate, co-facilitate, and/or join guest coaching sessions, classes, groups, reviews, and/or community meetings as needed. • Ensures that guests are engaged with necessary clinical and/or wrap-around services in the community, helps transition happen smoothly, and ensures that the work of multiple partners is coordinated. • Write and/or approve correspondence for guests to include court, probation, referral or reference letters, etc. • Maintain thorough and complete guest records. • Coordinate recovery or mental health services and communicate internally to Recovery Team. • Provide conflict resolution, behavioral management, de-escalation methods, crisis intervention, and defusing techniques, to prevent non-negotiable behaviors. • Provide support/coverage in the event of staff absence when needed • Oversee and monitor Recovery Coach(es) progression with guests. • Oversee and monitor recovery process groups and classes for guests. • Assess guests seeking recovery services, to determine suitability of services. • Assess guests in crisis for need to be sent to or assessed by outside sources. • Assess guests for referral to other mental health or recovery services. • Participate in and report guest reviews. • Lead guests in program and accountability processes • Recognize progress of guests through Community Celebrations. • Coordinate activities with Recovery Team. • Oversee and support volunteers as needed. • In collaboration with Director of Recovery Program, Senior Director of Program, and Program Success Leader, access, standardize, and develop effective recovery core curriculum and evaluate the effectiveness of Recovery Program. • As directed, assist the Director of Recovery Program and Senior Director of Program in making recommendations to develop and monitor the budget • Share On-call Manager responsibilities as directed. Uphold healthy work/life balance. • Provide full leadership and supervisory support to Recovery Team, programs teams, and other GRM teams. • In collaboration with Director of Recovery Program, Senior Director of Program, and Director of Human Resources, manage, address, and coach team situations and responsibilities. • Uphold policy (including statements of Mission, Vision, and Values), applying sound ethical judgment regarding behavior, conduct, and GRM practices; and manage and report issues with transparency and accountability. • In collaboration with Director of Human Resources, Senior Director of Program, and Director of Recovery Program, participate in interviewing, hiring, training, evaluating, coaching, recognition, disciplining, and termination of direct reports as necessary. • Assist the Director of Recovery Program and/or Executive Team as required to resolve all complaints of guests, staff, volunteers, and partner/outside agencies or entities. • Attend professional training and networking opportunities as directed. • Manage employees' web-based time and attendance records. • Support and attend GRM team meetings. • Provide weekly reports as directed. • Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Behavioral Health, Business Management, or related field, in addition to advanced specialized certification.
  • 5-plus years of equivalent experience may count in place of a degree.
  • 5-plus years of prior operational experience in addiction recovery, counseling, coaching, direct services to homeless populations, individuals dealing with addictive behaviors (including but not limited to substance use disorder, eating disorders, and others), trauma, depression, and mental health.
  • Maintain a valid Arizona Driver's License and must have a clean driving record.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
  • Must be evangelical Christian, living a life dedicated to Christ, and be an instrument of God's love, grace, hope, and forgiveness to all.
  • Essential Experience, Skills, and Competencies include but are not limited to 5-plus years of experience in leading and supporting a team. Ability to develop and execute team initiatives, independently as well as collaboratively. Outstanding interpersonal relational skills. Proficient in written communication, reading comprehension, and comprehensive listening skills. Ability to convey a high degree of commitment and passion for GRM.
Physical Demands:
  • This individual may encounter individuals who are ill and/or contagious and must take precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone.
  • Ability to use a phone, computer, printer, copier, and other standard office machinery.
  • Frequent use of Microsoft Office products and web-based software.
  • Requires frequent sitting, standing, and walking; and lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling objects weighing up to 50 pounds.

Employment Status:
  • Full-time 40 hours per week nonexempt' eligible for paid time off; eligible for benefits
