Recovery Specialist (Missouri - Project Access) - Chestnut Health Systems : Job Details

Engage clients in services prior to their treatment. Help individuals to overcome barriers to recovery by addressing obstacles and by monitoring, consulting, and encouraging during the recovery process. Provide stage-appropriate recovery education. Link clients to recovery communities and ancillary services. Develop natural supports and sobriety-based activities to support long-term recovery. Support interventions that are client-centered, trauma-informed, recovery-oriented, strengths-based, and evidence-based. Promote the recovery model of treatment including trauma-informed care, hope, respect, empowerment, health/wellness, and spirituality/connectedness. Qualifications Must have a bachelor's degree or be a Qualified Addiction Professional (QAP) by becoming a Certified Alcohol & Drug Counselor (CADC) or Registered Alcohol Drug Counselor (RADC) in good standing with the applicable state; and two years of demonstrated recovery experience and/or engaged in a recovery network, Crisis Int...Recovery, Project, Specialist, Healthcare
