PURPOSE AND NATURE OF WORK

Plans, develops, organizes, and directs programs within the PARC department including baseball, football, basketball, track, volleyball, and other athletic events for different age groups for the general public. Incumbent is required to work unusual hours and have a considerable amount of public contact.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS

Graduation from a four-year college or university with major course work in recreation/physical education; and considerable experience in organizing general public recreational activities; or any equivalent combination of training and experience.

TYPE OF EXAMINATION

Examination will be a multiple-choice test.
