Elks Aidmore, Inc. is one of the fastest growing therapeutic foster care programs in Georgia; with locations in Conyers, Dalton, Savannah and Valdosta. We are seeking an experienced and versatile Resource Development Specialist in the Savannah area that is able to work with diverse populations to identify new families interested in becoming foster parents with our agency. Our ideal candidate has experience in resource development, recruitment and writing home studies which will aide in expanding our foster care program in Savannah, Ga. and the surrounding areas. The person must have an understanding of community-based child welfare, as well as, able to work with young people who exhibit varying emotional and behavioral problems. In addition, this individual must be able to effectively relate to clients, foster parents/custodians of all social, economic, ethnic, cultural and educational backgrounds. The ideal candidate must be able to work with a minimum amount of supervision. This position is considered remote; however, YOU MUST LIVE IN THE SAVANNAH, GA AREA - NO REMOTE FROM OTHER LOCATIONS.
The person must be self-sufficient and able to demonstrate good decision-making ability related to the safety and well-being of the foster families and the clients served by the agency. This person will be required to travel extensively and will have to be able to stay informed of foster care regulations pertaining to foster home licensing and approval. Being able to analyze and react to difficult situations while under considerable stress and pressure is a must. Decisions made will be guided by precedent and established policies and procedures.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE RECRUITER COORDINATOR:
JOB TYPE: Full-time
PAY RANGE: $35,000.00 - $42,000.00 annually
BENEFITS: 401(k), Dental/Health/Vision Insurance, Flexible Schedule, Paid time off.
SCHEDULE: 8 hour shifts, Day Shift, Monday-Friday, On-Call Rotation, Weekends as needed.

Someone with experience, interpersonal skills, working knowledge of GA SHINES & Ga Score, recruiting foster parents and writing home studies, NTDC trained and certified.
