General Job DescriptionRecruiter$1,500 Sign-On BonusStatus: Salary - ExemptReports To: Human Resources ManagerPrimary Responsibility: Freeman Enclosure Systems is looking for a Recruiter to join their team in Batavia, Ohio. This position will be responsible for sourcing and recruiting for a large manufacturing facility.Responsibilities and DutiesAchieves staffing objectives by recruiting and evaluating job candidates and advising managers.Establishes recruiting requirements by studying organization plans and objectives and meeting with managers to discuss needs.Builds applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, media, and internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits; making presentations; and maintaining rapport.Determines applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications.Attracts applicants by placing job advertisements through applicant tracking software, using local community resources and job board sites.Determines applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants, analyzing responses, verifying references, and comparing qualifications to job requirements.Arranges management interviews by coordinating schedule; escorting applicants to interviews; and arranging facility tours.Evaluates applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers and interviewing applicants on a consistent set of qualifications.Improves organization attractiveness by recommending new policies and practices; monitoring job offers and compensation practices; and emphasizing benefits and perks.Avoids legal challenges by understanding current legislation, enforcing regulations with managers, recommending new procedures, and conducting training.Accomplishes human resources and organization mission by completing related results as needed.Hours and LocationOn-site positionDay shiftMeasures of SuccessDetail orientedExperience with Microsoft OfficeExcellent communication skillsAccurate and on-time completion of assignments.Customer/Client FocusQualificationsRecruiting and interviewing skillsPhone, Skype, and online meeting platform skillsSupports workplace diversityFamiliarity with relevant employment lawProfessionalism, organization, and project management skillsEducation and Experience Requirements2-4 years recruiting experience in full life-cycle environment, including management of multiple high-volume roles simultaneouslyMinimum 2 years' experience recruiting in manufacturing environmentsBachelor's degree preferred.Specific QualificationsMust be able to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen, and when applicable if duties involve operating a motor vehicle must be able to pass motor vehicle record check.Company OverviewIES is a national provider of industrial products and infrastructure services to a variety of end markets, including electrical, mechanical, and communications contracting solutions for the commercial, industrial, residential, and renewable energy markets.
