They assist with talent acquisition initiatives and programs, conducting daily recruitment activities to attractand hire qualified candidates. The Recruiter supports the recruitment process through advertising, sourcing, interview scheduling, job fair coordination, and social media strategies. Familiarity with healthcare regulations and workforce dynamics in a medical environment is beneficial.Responsibilities
  • Conduct recruitment activities to deliver quality candidates for assigned positions, maintaining an appropriate volume of requisitions under recruitment.
  • Source and assess candidate pools for vacancies by utilizing various methods, such as job boards, social media, and networking.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to ensure clear understanding of role requirements and institutional needs.
  • Coordinate interview scheduling and communicate effectively with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
  • Assist with onboarding transitions by transferring necessary candidate information to the onboarding team.
  • Participate in job fairs, meetings, and recruitment-related events as directed.
  • Identify potential issues with the applicant tracking system (ATS) and provide feedback to the appropriate team for resolution.
  • Escalate compensation or HR policy-related challenges impacting hiring or retention to the appropriate department.
  • Support department-based goals and initiatives by participating in team projects or assignments.
  • Promote individual professional growth through continuing education and skill development.
  • Other related duties as assigned. Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.Minimum of Five (5) years of recruitment experience with a minimum of one (1) year of experience in healthcare, a hospital, an academic medical center, or a related field. Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
    • Foundational knowledge of Human Resources and employment law.
    • Strong oral and written communication skills.
    • Ability to build collaborative relationships with hiring managers and candidates.
    • Demonstrated organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.Preferred QualificationsExperience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) or recruitment software.Experience with recruitment in healthcare or academic environments.Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR).Salary Range$68,000+ depending on qualificationsWorking Conditions
