Title: Research Intern Team Assistant

Duration: 12+ Months contract with possibility of FTE Conversion

Location: Onsite, Redmond, WA, 98002

The project provides a dynamic environment for research careers with a network of world-class research labs led by globally recognized scientists and engineers. Our researchers and engineers pursue innovation in a range of scientific and technical disciplines to help solve complex challenges in diverse fields, including computing, healthcare, economics, and the environment. The research sits within the Technology and Research Group - operating two programs - the University Team and the Research intern Program. This role is for the Intern Program.

The Research Intern Program Team hires hundreds of Research Interns each year in the U.S. and Canada. Our focus is to provide a world class experience for each intern and hiring manager. The team hires, onboards, plans, and executes intern events and much more.

Daily Responsibilities:

This is a very small team that is not actively sourcing candidates. They are tasked with curating in person / virtual events and orientations for Interns as well as helping with some sourcing for recruiting efforts. The group brings in around 400 PHD Students and interns annually that are research focused and ultimately are the focus of the program. This role can be intimidating with the amount of collaboration. need someone that will be a self-starter and can work under pressure.

Top 3 Skills:

• High level of proficiency with Excel and SharePoint
• Recruiting support, administrative, and or event planning experience

• Someone who is a self-starter and can work autonomously.
• Great communication and collaboration skills, Excellent organizational skills.
• Great personality - Friendly, but able to have direct conversations. Someone who is not timid.
