Recruiter - Wixon : Job Details

Wixon, a growing and progressive manufacturer of custom flavor systems and food technologies, is seeking a Recruiter to focus on full cycle recruiting to fill available employment vacancies and support the staffing needs of the organization. Located in St. Francis, WI, Wixon has been blending innovation with a passion for service since 1907.

The Recruiter will be responsible for recruiting, interviewing, screening, and sourcing candidates for internal job openings while also working to reduce the company's reliance on external staffing agencies.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Confers with management and supervisors to identify personnel needs, job specifications, and qualifications.
• Develops and implements recruitment programs, including budgets, job advertising, and collateral to attract applicants for specific openings.
• Builds and maintains a network of contacts, including schools, alumni groups, and public organizations, to source qualified candidates.
• Screens applications, interviews candidates, and provides detailed information about the organization and job openings.
• Coordinates job postings, writes offer letters, facilitates employee onboarding, and conducts New Employee Orientations.
• Organizes and participates in job fairs, community-based recruiting events, and public presentations to promote the organization.
• Utilizes job boards, social media, and other platforms for sourcing candidates and recommends improvements for recruiting strategies and platforms.
• Maintains accurate records of applicants, performs reference and background checks, and assists the HR team with various tasks as needed.

Key Qualifications Include:

• Minimum of 5 years of recruiting experience in a manufacturing environment, focusing on plant hourly recruiting.
• A four-year college degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
• Strong organizational, and communication skills; bilingual ability in Spanish is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required.
