Position: Physician Recruiter Company: Medstaff National Medical Staffing Department: Locum Tenens Medstaff National Medical Staffing (MEDSTAFF) is a national leader providing Locum Tenens solutions to government and commercial clinics and medical facilities throughout the US. Established in 1985, MEDSTAFF has been serving the healthcare industry for over 40 years. Much of our experience includes traditional commercially based hospitals and clinics as well as the Department of Defense, Social Security Administration, Department of Veteran Affairs, and Indian Health Service medical treatment facilities. We specialize in providing short-term and long-term placement of Physicians, Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners in a variety of contract related services. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Identify and source physicians with locum tenens or temporary assignment interest and availability using a variety of creative and effective recruitment methods. Identify qualities and skills ideal for placement and design recruitment method to achieve goals. Work with fellow recruiters to establish a continual pool of qualified physicians. Make a minimum of 50-70 calls per day to potential candidates to maintain a high level of available talent and meet team objectives. Use company provided resources and automation to source for new candidates. This includes but is not limited to Utilization of various sourcing methods to identify and attract qualified physicians, including phone, online job boards, social media, texting, emailing professional networks, and industry events. Use the company provided CRM as required by management. At a minimum, meet the required KPI requirements on a daily, weekly and monthly basis as determined by management. Coordinate and conduct initial phone interviews, assess candidate suitability, and present well-qualified candidates to account managers. Work closely with account management and business development to understand staffing needs and establish recruitment strategies. Provide regular updates to account manager(s), ensuring effective communication throughout the recruitment process. This position is approved for remote access. QUALIFICATIONS and/or EXPERIENCE To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. EDUCATION: BA or BS Degree or Equivalent Experience required. EXPERIENCE: A minimum of 1-year experience in a professional, customer oriented, service environment. Experience in a comprehensive, fast paced recruiting or sales environment preferred. Experience in health care industry and or with medical terminology a plus. Must have experience in an environment where phone interaction was primary form of communication. SPECIFIC SKILLS: Proficiency with computer skills required. Efficient organization and time management required. Must have professional phone manners and outstanding interpersonal, listening, negotiation and presentation skills. Superior customer service and organizational skills. HOURS of OPERATION: Office hours are Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 6:00pm Eastern Time. You will be asked to work Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm. When calling upon the West Coast, you may want to adjust your hours to start 9:00, 9:30 or 10:00 and end 6:00, 6:30, or 7:00 pm. You are welcome, and encouraged, to work additional time before or after this scheduled time as needed. Also, a few out of town conferences and client visits will include some weekends or weekdays overnight.
