Recruiter (Temporary) - Girl Scouts San Diego : Job Details

Job DescriptionEvery summer campers arrive at Girl Scouts San Diego summer camps excited for new adventures, fun, and making lifelong memories. More than 150 summer camp staff play a vital role in creating a positive camp experience for campers at our day and overnight camps. As a member of the seasonal staffing team, the temporary Recruiter will provide high-volume full-cycle recruiting for seasonal summer camp staff. This is a temporary position is expected to last up to June 2025.The Recruiter will have responsibility for:

• Developing and executing a recruiting and sourcing strategy to attract a pipeline of quality candidates for temporary summer camp positions.
• Utilizing a variety of recruiting methods including job boards, recruiting events, social media, and networking to maximize candidate sourcing.
• Conducting candidate phone screens, recommending candidates for interview, and coordinating interview schedules.
• Updating and maintaining accurate applicant data and status in ATS system (ATS OnDemand).
• Extending and coordinating offers and background checks with final candidates.
• Performing other duties as assigned or required.

Experience and Skills

• One or more years of sourcing/recruiting experience; high-volume seasonal recruiting experience is highly desired
• Organized with a strong attention to detail and accuracy; excellent follow-through and time management skills
• High degree of responsibility and ownership of work/assignments; must be dependable
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a sense of urgency and deliver results
• Exceptional communication (verbal & written) and interpersonal skills
• Experience and proficiency working with an ATS system; proficiency in Word and Excel
• An understanding of federal, state and local employment laws preferred
• Valid drivers license and ability to drive and attend recruitment events and/or meetings.

Expected hiring range: $21-$26 per hour. This temporary position is based at our Balboa campus.
