COMPANY: Executive Search Firm

POSITION: Recruiting Associate- Executive Search Firm

LOCATION: New York, NY

HOURS: 8:30am 5:30pm or 9am 6pm + flexibility for after hours email/phone accessibility

COMPENSATION: $65,000-$75,000 + Bonus + Benefits

BACHELOR'S DEGREE: Preferred

Responsibilities of the Recruiting Associate:

- Conduct research on prospective candidates using various tools

- Maintain and build various candidate tracking sheets, database lists, and other materials to support the recruiting teams

- Schedule prospective candidates using Outlook

- Answer and screen phone calls with candidates, and conduct interviews with qualified candidates

- Oversee communication to candidates and ensure they have appropriate information and documents for interviews

- Update and review resumes in database

- Partner with hiring managers in client companies in order to understand their needs and consult them as a market specialist

- Manage relationships with active, passive, and prospective candidates

- See candidates through entire hiring process

- Write up job descriptions and manage online postings; discuss (phone or email) job descriptions with candidates

- Build out your own book of business and network with the top professionals in the industry

- Assist with marketing candidates internally to team, including writing candidate bios for clients

- Collaborate with colleagues in search execution

- Ad-hoc projects as requested

Requirements of the Recruiting Associate:

- Bachelor's Degree

- Proven skills in client relationship building, critical thinking, and verbal/written communications

- Proficient in Microsoft Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint are all important

- Superior organizational skills and ability to multi-task

- EXTREMELY proactive

- Outstanding communication skills; sense of urgency; high-level of personal integrity

- Ability to work well under pressure and flexible in adapting and responding to changing situations

- Ability to work independently, but be a strong effective team player; commitment to results; solutions oriented

- Verification of identity, education, prior employment, and references may be required
