Position Overview:

As a Recruiting Specialist, you will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent to meet the company's growing needs. Your primary focus will be on recruiting skilled professionals, including plumbers, technicians, and other roles critical to the success of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Talent Sourcing & Attraction: Source, recruit, and engage top plumbing and skilled trade talent nationwide, with a focus on commercial plumbing roles for projects in and around Southern California.

Job Posting & Advertising: Write and post job advertisements across relevant platforms, ensuring they accurately represent the company culture and role requirements.

Screening & Interviewing: Review resumes, conduct initial phone screenings, and coordinate in-person or virtual interviews with hiring managers to assess candidates' qualifications and cultural fit.

Candidate Management: Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future job openings. Ensure timely communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process.

Job Offer & Onboarding Support: Prepare job offers, assist in negotiating compensation packages, and support the onboarding process to ensure a seamless transition for new hires.

Collaboration with Hiring Managers: Partner with department leaders to understand job requirements, team needs, and company goals, ensuring recruitment efforts align with organizational priorities.

Compliance & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of candidate information, interview feedback, and hiring decisions. Ensure all hiring practices comply with legal requirements and company policies.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in recruiting or talent acquisition, preferably in the construction or trades industry. Experience in plumbing, skilled trades, or commercial sectors is a plus.

Skills & Abilities:

  • Experienced with using LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, ZipRecruiter, ZoomInfo.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to assess candidates for both technical skills and cultural fit.
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HR software.
  • Knowledge of labor laws and recruitment best practices.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred but not required).

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary Range: $80,000 - $90,000
  • Benefits: Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, group life insurance, and long-term disability coverage.
  • Retirement: 401(k) plan with a 50% company match on contributions up to 4%
  • Time Off: Paid vacation and holidays
