What are we looking for in a Recruitment Coordinator? The Recruitment Coordinator is responsible for filling assigned positions across the organization, managing all steps of the process from the point of application to the point of hire. This includes reviewing applications, scheduling interviews, making job offers, and following up with applicants for each open position across our six campuses. Working within our applicant tracking system, Paycom, and coordinating with other members of the Human Resources department, the Recruitment Coordinator will strive to improve the efficiency of the hiring process. As we process a high volume of requisitions and applications, this position requires excellent organizational skills and the ability to effectively manage multiple duties & conflicting priorities. This position is the first point of contact for potential hires, so a welcoming and enthusiastic communication style is essential for ensuring a positive candidate experience. Previous experience with recruitment, human resources, and applicant tracking systems is highly preferred, but professionalism and polished communication skills are the most important qualifications for this role. This role is on-site in our Yakima office with no opportunity for remote work; the weekly work schedule is Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. Recruitment Coordinator duties may include:
  • reviewing applications as they are received and submitting them to the appropriate hiring managers for consideration
  • scheduling phone, video, and face-to-face interviews for all roles, including coordinating calendars of interview panelists and the applicants
  • answering phone and email inquiries from applicants
  • presenting verbal and written job offers to candidates and following up with applicants after interviews, including notifying those who are not hired
  • providing updates to hiring managers regarding the status of their applicant pool, interview progress, candidate communications, and offers
  • facilitating the pre-onboarding process once offers are accepted
  • coordinating internship placements for students
  • selecting and attending job fairs
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, communications, business administration, or a related field
  • One year of general office experience which includes coordinating calendars, scheduling meetings, and communicating with internal & external partners
  • Highly professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Previous experience with human resources, recruitment, and applicant tracking systems preferred
