Responsibilities REFERRAL SOURCE CALL NAVIGATOR is a key member of the Lincoln Trail Behavioral Health System Intake team. The Referral Source Call Navigator will hold an RN Nursing Degree, responsible for attending to transfer request and Concord E-fax request from referral agencies across the state. This individual will review and have immediate communication with attending/on-call MD and prompt communication with referral sources. Collaboration and communication with members of the Intake Department is key, as they will be responsible for completing patient admissions. Universal Health Services, Inc. Qualifications Requirements for the position Registered Nurse (RN) Job Requirements:
- Current license to practice nursing in Kentucky (or eligible to receive or renew).
- Current CPR or BLS certification.
- Preferred one year of experience working in a psychiatric inpatient setting with patients aged 5-65yrs+.
LANGUAGE SKILLS : Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals, patient evaluations and information reports. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies or members of the community. Ability to communicate on an effective level with physicians, patients, referral sources, and staff from a variety of disciplines.
