Qualifications:
A Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, a minimum of 2 -5 years of experience in refrigeration design is required, and an EIT pursuing PE licensure.
Or
An associate degree with a minimum of 5-8 years experience in refrigeration design who can show the applicability of the experience to the job description included.
Responsibilities:
• Excellent knowledge of discipline-specific codes and other building codes.
• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Good leadership skills to educate clients and team members.
• Meet with the Project team to discuss the schedule, budget, phasing, site, and design review issues.
• Review preliminary and final designs for function, clearances, and coordination with other disciplines.
• Client contact.
• Perform quality assurance on projects in coordination with the technical manager or project engineer.
• Set high standards of professional integrity and seek the company's and client's interests.
• Ability to meet fast-paced deadlines.
• Additional duties as required.
