Sixty semester hours from a college or universityaccredited by an organization recognized by the Councilfor Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) or by theUnited States Department of Education (USDE) and fouryears full-time, wage-earning licensed peace officerexperience with a bona fide law enforcement agencyorthirty semester hours from a college or university accreditedby an organization recognized by the CHEA or the USDEand six years full-time, wage-earning licensed peace officerexperience with a bona fide law enforcement agencyorten years full-time, wage-earning licensed peace officerexperience with a bona fide law enforcement agency.2. Experience in criminal or administrative investigationspreferred.3. Experience in the supervision of employees preferred.4.
