Dayspring Restoration is seeking a Director of Sales to join our Montana team. The Director of Sales is responsible for building a high functioning team of value driven individuals that clearly understand and execute our services in a manner that consistently produces satisfied customers and profitable projects. Preparing and executing the overall strategic plan for business development for a variety of vertical markets such as multifamily, senior living, hospitality, insurance agencies, higher education, and facility managers, etc. A strong focus on managing daily sales operations and achieve established sales and profitability goals. Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, communications, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience working in a multi-site, multi-business-line organization is required.
- Background in construction or a related service-based industry is preferred.
- A minimum of five years of sales experience, with marketing experience considered a plus.
- Proven experience in sales leadership or sales management, including coaching, mentoring, and driving team performance, is required.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage, and mentor a team of Business Development Managers across Montana, ensuring alignment with company sales objectives and market growth strategies.
- Provide hands-on coaching and training on prospecting, consultative selling, relationship building, and managing the full sales cycle.
- Develop and execute sales strategies in collaboration with the team to enhance revenue generation and market presence.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, set clear goals, and provide ongoing feedback to support professional growth and accountability.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the sales team.
- Guide Business Development Managers on targeting key referral verticals, including insurance agents, plumbers, property managers, multi-family housing operators, and commercial facility managers.
- Oversee territory management and sales pipeline development to ensure balanced growth and market coverage.
- Traveling up to 50% to provide in-person coaching, support, and strategic direction.
Essential Functions:
- Oversee daily sales operations, ensuring the achievement of established revenue and profitability goals.
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies that align with the company's growth objectives and market expansion efforts.
- Establish and manage sales territories, quotas, and performance goals while implementing training programs to enhance team effectiveness.
- Utilize CRM software to track sales pipeline progression, key initiatives, customer interactions, and deliverables, ensuring data-driven decision-making.
- Analyze local market trends and identify opportunities to strengthen customer relationships, enhance service offerings, and improve client retention in the disaster restoration industry.
- Collaborate closely with Operations Directors and the Regional Vice President to align sales strategies with operational goals, ensuring seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Represent the company in local business organizations and networking events to expand market presence and drive business development.
Physical Demands:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times
- 50% day and overnight travel to the company's various locations
Work Environment:Primarily works indoors in an office environment, with occasional visits to job sites as needed. May be exposed to varying weather conditions, temperature extremes, and moderate noise levels while on-site. Visits to job sites may require the use of protective equipment, such as a hard hat, and occasional exposure to environmental hazards, including mold, chemicals, or biohazardous materials. Some site visits may take place in unfinished or climate-controlled structures. Travel to multiple branch locations is required, with a company vehicle or personal vehicle serving as a mobile workspace.Competencies:
