Regional Asphalt Plant Manager - CyberCoders : Job Details

Position OverviewWith over 40 years of experience in road construction, we have become one of Florida's most prestigious highway infrastructure, residential, and commercial sitework and paving contractors. We are leaders in hot-mix asphalt, offering services that include asphalt plants, liquid asphalt terminals, and concrete plants. We are seeking an experienced Asphalt Plant Manager to oversee our plant operations across the Florida Panhandle, from Pensacola to Tallahassee. The Regional Asphalt Plant Manager will manage multiple asphalt plant operations, ensuring safety protocols, regulatory compliance, staffing, training, and financial cost controls are maintained. • Manage and oversee asphalt production plant operations, including production, scheduling of materials, and maintenance.
• Work closely with QC and field staff to ensure asphalt mix quality meets customer expectations.
• Develop and manage plant budgets, including operating and maintenance costs.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies, maintaining permit compliance, and renewing permits as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field
• 7+ years of experience in asphalt production and plant management, specifically with drum mix plants
• Valid Driver's License
• Experience in developing and implementing strategies to improve plant efficiency, safety, and performance
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and the ability to develop safety training programs
• Proven ability to develop and manage plant budgets, including operating and maintenance costs
• Ability to develop innovative ideas as technology and equipment evolve
• Commitment to implementing sustainability practices to reduce energy usage and promote recycling
