Job Description :

  • Oversee the day-to-day billing operations of billing team to ensure adherence to policies and procedures
  • Address escalations of exceptions and discrepancies
  • Serve as primary point-of-contact for Operations, providing quick resolutions surrounding billing issues
  • Approve financial adjustments to determine accuracy and ensure compliance with all internal and external regulations
  • Monitor flow of work of assigned staff and reassign workload demands as needed
  • Implement process and action plans
  • Provide billing team with leadership, guidance and direction
  • Effectively prioritize a large volume of billing and adjustments to meet strict month end close deadlines with minimal to no errors
  • Facilitate regular billing processes
  • Accurate and timely production of billing processes
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in billing is strongly preferred;
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, with a strong background in Excel, will be considered an asset;
  • Experience using Sage 300 considered an asset;
  • Experience using TRACK considered an asset;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment;
  • Professional demeanor and attention to detail;
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills;
  • Must be teachable/trainable and have ability to retain new information quickly;
  • Pre-employment background checks will be required;
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time at desk and working on computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Required to sit, use hands & fingers, handle, feel, reach with hands and arms, push, pull, carry, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, or crouch.
