The Regional Director of Human Resources is responsible for delivering best-in-class human resources support and leadership to Care Initiatives Eastern Region. As part of the East regional team this leader reporting to the vice president of human resources will provide strategic leadership, direction and continuous improvement for programs, initiatives, processes, and procedures that align with our core values, team member strategies, and overall business objectives.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

* Work closely with management and team members to improve relationships, enhance culture, build engagement, improve morale, increase productivity and strengthen retention.

* Participate as a member of the Eastern Region Leadership Team.

* Influence and collaborate with a wide range of team members, other HR professionals and stakeholders across the organization.

* Partner with management to provide direction concerning day-to-day HR matters while maintaining HR compliance. This includes policy and procedural guidance, support, and interpretation.

* Proactively build and maintain a positive relationship with employees through active and transparent communication and fair and consistent application of policy.

* Partner with management on matters related to performance management and disciplinary actions.

* Conduct workplace investigations and provide employee relations support to help promote a positive, productive work environment.

* Review, enhance and participate in employee orientation, onboarding, and retention programs.

* Assist with workforce planning, performance management and succession planning.

* Promote a diverse and inclusive work environment where team members of all backgrounds feel included, and their contributions are valued.

* Collaborate with the HR Leadership Team to develop and maintain core HR programs, such as handbooks, performance appraisal system, training, etc.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree required.

* At least 8 years of human resource management experience is required, preferably in a healthcare, skilled nursing or related organization.

* Travel is a regular expectation of this position. Must be willing and able to travel regularly to the Eastern Region and Home Office as needed.

* Professional Human Resources certification preferred.

* Technologically savvy, excellent in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

* Possess outstanding interpersonal, written, oral communication, listening, and influencing skills.

* Demonstrated professional communication and relationship-building skills.

* Ability to be on-call and available to travel or join calls as urgent issues arise.
