We are seeking a REGIONAL DISPATCHER to join our team in the Twin Cities (Golden Valley area). Our Regional Dispatcher will be responsible for efficiently routing home deliveries while working closely with the accounts to assure complete service. They will also manage a team of drivers, making sure all SOP's are being followed and drivers are in compliance with DOT standards. Responsibilities for our Regional Dispatcher include but are not limited to:

  • Assign, plan and dispatch drivers/contractors, working closely with management and Operations team(s);
  • Recruit and grow a stable driving team to maintain the goals of Berger;
  • Develop partnerships to secure hauling opportunities;
  • Maintain data integrity to ensure that accurate information is available for internal and external customers;
  • Oversee contractor performance to ensure customer satisfaction and on time delivery;
  • Other duties as assigned
The successful candidate for this position will share the following knowledge, skills and abilities:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent (preferred);
  • Ability to work well with a team, manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines in a fast paced, constantly changing, high demand work environment;
  • Minimum of 1 year of Owner Operator Interstate planning and dispatch experience is required;
  • Strong problem solving skills;
  • Self starter motivated by daily challenges;
  • Excellent organizational skills;
  • Robust geographical knowledge
