  • Develop and implement EHS programs and policies to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and company standards.
  • Conduct regular site audits to identify potential environmental and safety hazards, ensuring corrective actions are taken promptly.
  • Lead and coordinate all regional EHS training programs, including emergency response, hazard communication, and safety equipment usage.
  • Manage and maintain all EHS documentation and records, ensuring they are up-to-date and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS considerations into business decisions and operations.
  • Investigate and report on all incidents and accidents, identifying root causes and implementing preventive measures to avoid recurrence.
  • Monitor and analyze EHS performance metrics, providing regular reports to senior management and recommending improvements where necessary.
  • Stay abreast of current and emerging EHS regulations and industry trends, ensuring the company is informed and prepared for any changes.
  • Foster a culture of safety and environmental responsibility across the organization, promoting awareness and understanding of EHS issues among all employees.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in an EHS role within the manufacturing industry.
  • Proven experience with document control, with a strong attention to detail and an ability to manage and maintain complex records systems.
  • Excellent knowledge of federal, state, and local EHS regulations and standards.
  • Strong leadership skills, with an ability to motivate and engage teams towards achieving EHS objectives.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with an ability to convey complex EHS information in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to identify and address EHS issues effectively and efficiently.
  • Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or similar certification is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and EHS management systems.
