Job Summary

The Regional Facilities Director (Hard Services) is a part of the senior leadership team for the district and provides overall planning, direction, evaluation and control of the assigned units, achieving operational and financial goals. The Regional Director provides guidance and motivation to Unit Directors, Regional Managers, and other Managers and Associates. The role is instrumental in establishing and maintaining effective customer/client rapport.

Please Note: Some Travel Required - Candidate Can be located anywhere on the East Coast (Targeting MD, VA, DC Area)

Selected Candidate Must Have a Background in Hard Services (HVAC, FLS, Electrical, and Maintenance, etc.)

Key Responsibilities:

  • SME in hard and soft services with a technical level of expertise.
  • Determine operational characteristics of a building and identify improvement areas by reviewing sequence of operations and interviewing staff.
  • Collaborate with Associates regarding specific project tasks to achieve goals and meet deadlines relative to assigned projects.
  • Coordinate facility site visits and communicate with outside vendors and key IFM partners.
  • Develop and present proposals and presentations for program optimization opportunities.
  • Possesses strong strategic thinking skills, with an emphasis on delivering and measuring action plans
  • Is proactive and positive; interacts professionally with a diverse group of associates, peers, managers, suppliers, clients and customers
  • Embraces excellence in customer service both for internal and external customers; has excellent verbal and written communication and customer service skills
  • Demonstrates initiative and good judgment in assisting customers, clients, peers and subordinates
  • Ensures consistent and fair administration of personnel policies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree and/or equivalent industry related experience required
  • 5+ Years experience in the facilities management industry
  • Hard Services Experience Required
  • Experience in large managed volume service operations
  • Contract-managed service experience, preferred
