Key Accountabilities:•Applications and Deliveries: Coordinate the scheduling of spray truck applications and bulk liquid chemical deliveries, ensuring alignment between production, sales, and customer needs.•Responsible for Proper Execution: Ensure spray truck operators apply the correct product, on schedule, and in the proper way, according to customer requirements. Confirm that the work follows the sales team's instructions and matches what was agreed upon with the customer.•Issue work orders: Create work orders for spray truck operators, factoring in the service requirements, product specifications, equipment limitations, operator training, and weather conditions.•Responsible for field personnel appearance and vehicle upkeep: Ensure field personnel maintain a professional appearance, including proper uniforms. Oversee the cleanliness and proper care of spray trucks, ensuring they are cleaned and maintained regularly.•Collaborate with fleet maintenance: Work closely with the fleet maintenance team to prioritize repairs and minimize downtime, ensuring consistent and uninterrupted customer service.•Maintain customer relationships: Foster strong working relationships with customers to address any issues promptly and ensure smooth operations. Identify opportunities for growth to enhance the profitability of the account.•Ensure accurate documentation and billing: Ensure delivery documentation is timely and accurate for customer records and proper invoicing. Work closely with the billing team to ensure customers are billed correctly. •Conduct site safety audits: Perform annual safety audits of field service sites to ensure Midwest is compliant with OSHA, MSHA, and customer safety requirements.•Monitor driving safety: Regularly review electronic logging devices to ensure compliance with hours-of-service regulations and assess truck camera events to confirm safe driving practices, providing coaching and feedback as needed.•Manage and mentor staff: Supervise team members in accordance with company policies, ensuring fairness and confidentiality. Provide leadership and mentorship to help employees improve their skillset and advance their career potential.•Other duties as assignedKey Authorities: •Responsible for Field Application Specialists' schedule and work output. •Responsible for ensuring each job site is properly stocked to complete the job plan by requesting additional materials in a timely manner as needed.•Address performance or compliance issues by offering guidance and support to staff arise. Requirements:•Bachelor's degree in business or related field; proven industry experience will be acceptable in lieu of degree•A valid driver's license •Time management and organization skills to track deliveries and stay on schedule•Minimum 3 to 5 years' experience in managerial capacity•Proficient in Microsoft Office and industry related software programs•Demonstrated knowledge of trucking industry•Strong customer service skills•Project management experience•Ability to exercise considerable judgment, maintain confidentiality, and act in a diplomatic manner•A good educator who is trustworthy and willing to share information and serve as a mentor•An intelligent and articulate individual who can relate to people at all levels of an organization and possesses excellent communication skills•A decisive individual who possesses a detail-oriented perspective •Ability to lead and work with peers in a team effort•Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines•A well-organized and self-directed individual who is able to work with minimal amount of supervision•Capability to efficiently complete tasks in a fast-paced environment•Ability to work extended hours, and be available by phone on weekends, and holidays pursuant with industry demands •Willingness to travel up 30%Work Environment:Includes both a typical office environment, with minimal exposure to excessive noise or adverse environmental issues, and occasional local and/or overnight travel, including exposure to heat, cold, and inclement weather conditions. Mode of transportation for travel typically will include automobile and plane.Physical Requirements:Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time.
