Job Description Chronicle Heritage is currently seeking a Regional Principal in the Northeast region of the United States. We are looking for an ambitious, hardworking, and goal-oriented person with proven leadership abilities and experience with operational leadership. The Regional Principal will be supported by a national network of cultural resource management professionals and our senior management team. Hire Type: Full-time (Salaried) Schedule: Monday-Friday, normal business hours Location: Northeast Region (Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware)The Regional Principal will report directly to a company officer and be responsible for the following duties:
  • Support business development in the region
  • Oversee financial performance of the offices in the region
  • Mentor senior staff
  • Provide superior client management services
  • Work with Office Principals, Sales Executives, and others to expand our client portfolio and implement our strategic plan
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in archaeology, history, architecture, planning, business or a closely related field
  • 10+ years of consulting experience, with a history of increasingly responsibilities and a proven track record of client and program management
  • 5+ years of demonstrated experience providing leadership of a professional team
  • Expertise of state and federal cultural resource regulations in the northeast
Preferred Skills
  • Graduate or advanced degree
  • 10+ years of consulting experience
  • Ability to manage teams as a leader and supervisor and handle multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work with a large, multi-disciplinary team and promote and sustain effective working relationships with clients, agencies, and other stakeholders
  • Excellent organizational, schedule, and budget management skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project)
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Financial management skills
