We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Property Manager to oversee a portfolio of multifamily properties. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving operational excellence, ensuring optimal financial performance, and fostering a positive living environment for residents. This role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and exceptional communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Oversight: Manage day-to-day operations of assigned properties, ensuring compliance with company policies, local regulations, and industry standards.
- Financial Management: Develop and manage annual budgets, monitor financial performance, and implement strategies to achieve revenue and expense targets.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and supervise property managers and staff, providing ongoing support and professional development.
- Resident Relations: Cultivate a positive community atmosphere by addressing resident concerns, enhancing resident satisfaction, and implementing engagement programs.
- Marketing & Leasing: Oversee marketing strategies to maximize occupancy rates, including managing online listings, conducting market analyses, and coordinating leasing activities.
- Maintenance Coordination: Ensure properties are well-maintained by collaborating with maintenance teams, overseeing capital improvement projects, and ensuring timely response to maintenance requests.
- Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and present regular reports on property performance, market trends, and operational efficiencies to senior management.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to all local, state, and federal regulations, including fair housing laws and safety standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in property management, with a focus on multifamily housing.
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing a team.
- Strong financial acumen and experience with budgeting and financial reporting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Real Estate license preferred, but not required.
