This evolution has successfully led Elgin into several new directions driving us to expand our team.We are looking for a Regional Sales Representative. The Regional Sales Representative will aggressively develop and execute a sales/marketing strategy for their region with the fundamental objective to increase sales and profitability.   • Development of a target customer database via market research, cold calling, and lead development.
  • Develop and maintain favorable relationships with all customers and ensure that high-level, personalized customer service is provided at all times.
  • Implement and achieve rapid and sustainable growth in sales.
  • Develop lasting customer relationships by being a conduit for troubleshooting, product information, market insight, and technical know-how.
  • Work closely with Marketing to develop a consistent product message and image that addresses industrial customer requirements
  • Prepare Sales and Market forecasts and budgets; including quarterly rolling sales forecasts.
  • Must be capable of traveling up to 95%.
Key Skills
  • Minimum of two (2) years combined, successful and progressive sales experience. Experience in the coal preparation and aggregate industries is a plus.
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or equivalent technical background.
  • Dynamic personality capable of implementing process and culture change in an organization. Roll up the sleeves-get it done, an action-oriented personality is essential.
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Experience in using sales/territory development, management, and product application systems.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
