BASIC FUNCTION Responsible for sales of a medical device the representative will call on a combination of physician office and hospitals, selling a new product in the Endoscopic Sinus Surgery market to ENT's, and other applications/areas needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Responsible for direct sales calls, initiating and implementing clinical product evaluations and post-sale follow-up including in-servicing and contract management. Develop and implement a territory sales & marketing plan that will assure meeting or exceeding sales quota; review results periodically and take corrective action as needed. Create and implement appropriate sales strategies and tactics to meet changing conditions and specific marketing challenges in assigned territory. Attend and participate in local and national professional shows/conventions as required; assist in equipment coordination, set-up and product demonstration. Complete and submit required administrative paperwork in a timely manner. Maintain vendor qualifications. Provide in-service education, training and technical support to customers when necessary. Other duties as assigned. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: - Requires self-direction, tact, diplomacy and a clear, courteous and professional manner when dealing with medical staff.

- Availability to travel frequently (50% or more).
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: - Bachelor's degree in marketing/Life Sciences/ Communication or related field.
- 2+ years experience as a Sales Specialist in acute care and POC ENT's.
- Competent computer skills to perform essential functions listed above.
