Job Summary

Job Purpose:

The role of a Regional Services Lead is pivotal in fostering robust cybersecurity frameworks within organizations. This position entails a multifaceted approach to customer engagement, encompassing the development of tailored programs, direct consultation on cybersecurity needs, and comprehensive support throughout the sales process. A significant aspect of this role involves orchestrating large-scale service engagements, which includes defining the scope, setting objectives, and facilitating discussions with C-level executives, all while emphasizing the importance of detailed reporting and the generation of new service revenues.

Goals and Objectives:

  • Support the Enterprise business unit in growing and maintaining a strong customer base with new and existing clients.
  • Create and execute account plans for named clients to penetrate, build, and scale up new named client relations.
  • Work with various departments, not limited to Enterprise business Units, Finance, and Marketing to ensure customer value creation and satisfaction.
  • Work with the client vendor ecosystem to improve ESET positioning.
  • Work with global system integrators to create and execute joint account plans for named clients and joint opportunities in the assigned market.
  • Perform conceptual, system, creative, methodological, and business activities as directed by direct supervisor.
  • Additionally, perform other work on projects and tasks as directed by direct supervisor.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Play a key role in securing large, strategic advisory service contracts, interacting with executive-level stakeholders across various industry sectors.
  • Proactively evaluate and enhance cybersecurity and incident response frameworks to advance organizational security measures before potential incidents.
  • Craft innovative scenarios that challenge and improve customers' full spectrum of response mechanisms.
  • Provide expert guidance on cloud security strategies and the implementation of technical safeguards.
  • Conduct thorough analyses during technical assessments to inform and support security strategies.
  • Perform analysis on technical assessments looking for security misconfigurations in Azure, M365, AWS, or GCP.
  • Develop innovative scenarios to help customers exercise the full range of their response capabilities.
  • Produce and ensure delivery of high-quality written and verbal reports, presentations, recommendations, and findings to customer management.
  • Understand cloud-based attacks and tactics used by threat actors to target the three major cloud platforms.
  • Understand how standards and best practices (e.g., NIST CSF, CSA Controls Matrix, AWS Well-Architected Framework, Azure Architecture Framework) are applied to cloud infrastructure.
  • Identify and address emerging trends in cybersecurity, drawing on both government and private sector perspectives.
  • Present technical material to both non-technical and technical audiences.

Key Technical Skills, Knowledge, and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of sales experience, or equivalent quota-crushing role, in the software/technology sector; experience in cybersecurity or SecOps preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience evangelizing enterprise technology, with particular focus on SaaS and disruptive cybersecurity technologies.
  • Experience in developing a cloud security program and implementing technical controls to secure an organization's cloud security deployments.
  • Contribute to the development, management, and implementation of a security program, helping organizations build, enhance, or recalibrate their plans for a successful future-leaning security program.
  • Experience working on a range of infosec and IT issues, including both technical and operational cybersecurity.
  • Help businesses address a range of risks, including cyber risks, across their organization.
  • Extremely high language skills required: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret legal documents, respond to common inquiries and complaints, and effectively present information to top executive management.
  • Prominent level of interpersonal relationship and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and self-reliant with a high level of interpersonal relationships and excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Other Skills:

  • Understand the types of misconfigurations that attackers exploit to attack cloud services and how to implement mitigations to defend against these.
  • Understand cybersecurity from a practitioner standpoint and how to consolidate and communicate results to senior leaders.
  • Familiar with how organizational risk frameworks are developed and experience helping organizations improve and apply their risk frameworks to address cyber risks.
  • Experience in developing policies, plans, and/or playbooks focusing on cybersecurity activities.
  • Experience helping government organizations refine cybersecurity priorities and communicate clearly about these priorities.
  • Experienced in working across diverse sets of technical and non-technical stakeholders to develop defensible, actionable priorities and plans for improving cybersecurity.

Qualifications:

  • University undergraduate degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, or Computer Sciences, or equivalent experience.
  • Preferred Certification: CISSP, CompTIA Network+, Security+

Job Fit:

  • Must live within a major city within the defined geographical sales territory.
  • Must be available to work days, evenings, and weekends if necessary.
  • Must be able to accommodate calls/meetings with different time zones.
  • Be available for travel approximately 30% within the geographical sales territory.
