The Children's Home of Poughkeepsie has been caring for children throughout the Hudson Valley for over 175 years! We strive to empower children and families to achieve optimal health and well being. We are currently seeking a Regional Supervisor to work in our Home Study and Post Release Services (HS/PRS) Program.
Position Summary:
The Regional Supervisor is responsible for the oversight and delivery of case management services in the Home Study and Post Release Program. This includes but is not limited to: tracking cases, ensuring deadlines are met, monitoring team performance and developing a positive rapport with a remote team.
The ideal candidate will live within 100 mile radius of one of the following cities:
Orlando, Florida
Miami, Florida
Charlotte, North Carolina
Nashville, Tennessee
Atlanta, Georgia
Schedule: FT, 35 hours minimum.Monday - Friday, with rotating on call responsibilities

QualificationsMINIMUM Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in behavioral sciences, human services or social services field
At least 1 year of experience working with children and families
3 years of progressive employment experience
Bi-lingual English/Spanish
Valid NYS Driver License in good condition as determined by the Agency
Must complete and pass a pre-employment physical, PPD and drug screen and an annual physical and PPD.
PREFERRED Qualifications:
Master's degree in the behavioral sciences, human services or social services fields
Case management experience
Competence with supervisory skills
Experience in conducting Home visits and writing thorough professional reports
Experience working within the Office of Refugee Resettlement
Appropriate licensure or eligibility for licensure
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Must be able to remain in a stationary position for an extended period of time
Constantly operate a computer and other office equipment
Ability to travel 20% of the time
