About the Role

The Company is seeking a Regional VP of Operations for its Electrification Service Division in the Americas. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting and executing the operations service strategy, with a focus on aftermarket business, field and aftermarket quality, customer care, and training and development. This role requires full accountability for the US operations and indirect management of operations in Canada and Latin America. The Regional VP will be expected to work closely with local division managers to drive service growth, implement KPIs, and ensure project completion. Business transformation experience and a hands-on approach to managing plant operations, particularly in the areas of supply chain and quality management, are essential.Applicants for the Regional VP of Operations position at the company should hold a university degree in engineering, preferably in electrical or industrial engineering, and have a minimum of 8 years experience in the electrical power industry, with at least 5 years in service factory operations. A background in plant management or a proven record of manufacturing operations turnaround is required. The role demands a candidate with strong leadership skills, end-to-end operational understanding, and excellent communication abilities. A proactive, self-motivated individual with a strong negotiation and influencing skill set, who is willing to travel, is ideal. Experience with ERP systems, manufacturing execution systems, or quality management software is a plus, as is a Six Sigma Green Belt or Lean manufacturing certificate. The candidate should be adept at defining and executing service contracts and have a general knowledge of customer products, applications, and processes.
