Sodexo is seeking a part-time Registered Dietitian 2 for Moravian Manor Community located in Lititz, PA. This is a 20 hour/week position; flexible schedule and benefits offered! Moravian Manor Communities has dedicated itself to the care of seniors since its doors opened in 1975, providing a wide range of health care services and living options that support and enrich the journey of aging.

The successful candidate will:

• provide nutritional care to the long-term care residents and rehab patients;
• conduct quality improvement initiatives such as test trays and meal rounds;
• meet DOH/state/federal and company standards;
• be an active member of the interdisciplinary care conferences;
• represent the Food & Nutrition Department as a liaison with the medical and nursing staff; and/or
• support the food service operation as needed.

Basic Education Requirement: Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)

For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24: Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)

Credentials Requirement: Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire

Minimum Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in health care including hospitals, nursing homes, assisted or independent living facilities, long-term care, retirement homes, or clinics + registered dietitian
