Join our rapidly growingorganization serving over 50,000 patients annually and unlock new frontiers in healing andhope.In This Role, You Will:Float between NYCBS locations as needed.Follow all NYCBS policies and procedures.Create individualized care plans for patients under your supervision and care.Recognize and treat cancer-related issues.Monitor and chart vital signs, weight, and height.Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to share expertise and knowledgeConduct cancer research to enhance treatment protocols assigned to cancer patientsProvide supportive resources to the patient and the families to promote a positive outlook.Teach patients and the families regarding treatment expectations.Watch and record the patient's progress on a constant basisChart the patient's response to treatment and medication.Complete MAR after treatment.Provide the patient with discharge instructions that are specific to the patient aswell as emergency numbers after care.We Require:Valid New York State RN LicenseMinimum 1 year of experience in oncology outpatient and at least 1 year of experience in administering medications.Excellent assessment, communication, and organizational skills.Proficiency in OncoEMR (preferred)Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Prolonged periods of standing, bending and reaching.Frequent exposure to chemicals, bloodborne pathogens, and patient bodily fluids.Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.Willingness to travel to NYCBS locations.What We Offer:Salary: Up to $69 per hour based on experienceBenefits**: Tuition reimbursement, Health Insurance on day 1, Dental, Vision, LifeInsurance, Short- and Long-term disability, 401k Plan, generous PTO, 8 paid holidays(2 floating)Join us at NYCBS, where we are making strides in healthcare through innovative andcompassionate care.Visit our website at: Nycancer.comFollow us on Facebook: NYCBS on Facebook*New York Cancer and Blood Specialists is an Equal Opportunity Employer.*
