Works alongside technologists and physicians but can work independently when required. Communicates effectively with patients, technical staff, ancillary staff, and professional staff.Responsibilities

• Assumes responsibility for delivery of patient care while the patient is in the Cardiac Catheterization Suite.
• Implements the patients plan of care and evaluates outcomes of nursing intervention.
• Participates and is accountable for the efficient operation of the Cardiac Catheterization Lab's nursing services as well as professional and personal growth.

Requirements

• Education: Graduate of NLN approved school of nursing required, BSN preferred
• Experience: 5+ years of critical care nursing experience required, 1 year of cardiac catheterization lab experience preferred
• Certification/Licensure: Current RN MA license, BLS, and ACLS required
