Location: Tuscaloosa County Jail

Open Position: Full-Time Registered Nurse

Schedule: 12-hour Day Shift Rotation 7 a.m. - 7:30 p.m. with Alternating Weekends

Sign-on & Retention Bonus Available!

Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering patient care, assessing symptoms and reactions, documenting results, establishing nursing care plans, and adhering to State Scope of Practice and Guidelines.
• Administering prescribed medications in accordance with nursing standards and correctional regulations.
• Implementing established treatment plans with diligence.
• Performing emergency interventions and utilizing critical thinking skills in physical assessments.
