Registered Nurse - Dialysis - HealthMed Pro Solutions : Job Details

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Dialysis Registered Nurse (RN) to provide care for patients with kidney disease undergoing dialysis treatment. The RN will be responsible for monitoring patients before, during, and after dialysis, administering medications, and ensuring the safe operation of dialysis equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare patients for dialysis treatment by reviewing medical history and conducting pre-treatment assessments.

Monitor patients during dialysis, including vital signs and response to treatment.

Administer medications as prescribed and manage fluid balance during the procedure.

Operate dialysis machines, ensuring proper setup, operation, and maintenance.

Educate patients and families on dialysis procedures, home care, and dietary restrictions.

Document all aspects of patient care and treatment in the medical records.

Collaborate with nephrologists and other healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.

Qualifications:

Current RN license in New York State.

Experience in dialysis or nephrology nursing preferred.

Strong understanding of dialysis procedures, equipment, and patient care.

Excellent communication and patient care skills.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
