The patient population includes patients with medical or surgical diagnosis. The primary focuses are patients with cardiovascular, pulmonary, stroke or renal diseases. We are dedicated to enhancing the professionalism of Medical-Surgical nursing and promoting standards of practice to better serve the needs of our community, while providing a forum for the interaction and exchange of ideas related to acute care. We promote safety in our environment and optimal outcomes for patients undergoing diagnostic testing, procedures and recovery. Health care delivery on D1 is provided through relationships, with the activities of care organized around the needs and priorities of patients and their families.
