Registered Nurse - staff today : Job Details

Job DescriptionHealth Advocates Network is currently seeking a Registered Nurse to work at a Facility in Kinston, North Carolina . These are registry positions with our company. Pay Rate: $44 / hour*W2Shift Details:

• 1 RN 8-hour shift Monday through Friday, 11: 30 am to 08: 00 pm, 13-week contract with possibility for renewal.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year (12 months) of experience as a Registered Nurse
• Able to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina
• A valid and current BLS card (American Heart Association)
• Registered nurse with experience in adolescent, pediatric, school, public health, correctional-juvenile, and/or emergency nursing practice for each location.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provides general nursing care to patients.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques.
• Prepares equipment and aids physician during treatments and examinations of patients.
• Observes patient, records significant conditions and reactions, and notifies supervisor or physician of patient's condition and reaction to drugs, treatments, and significant incidents.
• Takes temperature, pulse, blood pressure, and other vital signs to detect deviations from normal and assess condition of patient.
• May make beds, bathe, and feed patients.
• May serve as leader for group of personnel rendering nursing care to number of patients.
• Additional RN duties given by Supervisor.
