Job Title: Registered Nurse
Job Description
A Registered Nurse (RN) in a hospital setting provides direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles. They work collaboratively with physicians, other nurses, and healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Care: Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans. Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed.
Monitoring: Observe and record patient behavior, symptoms, and progress. Monitor vital signs and report any changes to the medical team.
Collaboration: Work with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care. Communicate effectively with doctors, patients, and family members.
Education: Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, and post-hospital care.
Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed patient records. Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
Emergency Response: Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid or life support as needed.
Infection Control: Follow infection control protocols to prevent the spread of diseases.
