About the RoleThe post-anesthesia care unit nurse (PACU nurse) provides care for post-operative patients of all ages recovering from anesthesia, including general, regional, and local.Responsibilities:Evaluate, implement, and document nursing care plans for patients undergoing recovery from anesthesia.Maintain patient stability by monitoring vital signs, neurological status, and airway patency.Administer diligent care through continuous assessment, intervention, and reassessment in a dynamic environment.Requirements:Graduate of an accredited nursing program; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.Previous nursing experience is desired but not required.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Effective leadership abilities, time management skills, and strong critical thinking/problem-solving skills are essential.RN license active in the state of Missouri; BLS certification within 90 days; PALS and ACLS certifications within one year of hire.What We Offer:$100,000 - $120,000 estimated annual salary.A comprehensive benefits package including medical, vision, dental, retirement plan with employer match, and more.$10,000 sign-on bonus, 80 hours of front-loaded paid time off, up to $3,000 relocation bonus, $1.00 certification pay, $1.00 BSN pay, and career ladder bonus eligibility up to $5,000.About Us:CoxHealth is a leading healthcare system serving 25 counties across southwest Missouri and northern Arkansas.We have six hospitals, five ERs, and over 80 clinics.We value workplace excellence and have been recognized by Modern Healthcare as one of the Best Places to Work five times, America's Greatest Workplaces by Newsweek, and Greatest Workplaces for Diversity, Women, and New Grads.
