We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, support wellness and prevention efforts, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for our patients. Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate patient health needs and establish individualized care plans.- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.- Monitor patient progress and response to treatment, adjusting care plans as necessary.- Document all patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner in the electronic health record.- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, specialists, and other healthcare staff to provide comprehensive patient care.- Educate patients and their families about health management, medication, and lifestyle adjustments.- Ensure compliance with all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.- Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and their families.- Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives.- Stay current with best practices and changing regulations in the nursing field.
Qualifications:- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia.- Bachelors degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) acceptable.- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.- Proven experience in a clinical setting (specific field experience may be required depending on department).- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks effectively.- Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other healthcare technology.
Physical Requirements:- Ability to lift and move patients as needed.- Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and bending.- Ability to perform repetitive tasks and handle stressful situations.
