*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\* ONLY TRAVELERS ACCEPTED \*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\***Hourly Pay: $64/hr || Location: Edmond, OK || Contract: 13 Weeks*+*General Description:*Under general supervision, the Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive nursing care in a hospital setting for patients with health conditions ranging from simple to complex. The RN is responsible for performing nursing assessments, interventions, and documenting patient care activities.*Essential Responsibilities:** Assume responsibility for an assigned group of patients.* Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments, noting any changes in physician orders for assigned patients.* Assist physicians during patient examinations and in performing minor diagnostic procedures and treatments.* Obtain and monitor physiological data of patients, observing signs and symptoms, and intervening when necessary.* Administer medications as prescribed, and initiate, regulate, and monitor intravenous infusions and blood products.* Deliver patient care in a competent and compassionate manner.* Interact with patients and families to discuss care plans during the hospital stay and at discharge.* Inform patients and families of hospital procedures.* Make referrals regarding patient care needs to appropriate healthcare personnel.* Delegate tasks to support staff.*General Responsibilities:** Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or management.*Required Skills & Experience:** Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a healthcare setting.* Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, techniques, and procedures.* Ability to organize, plan, coordinate, and evaluate nursing services and apply nursing techniques effectively.* Ability to maintain good working relationships with other healthcare team members.* Strong verbal and written communication skills.* Ability to respond effectively to the cultural and language needs of patients and visitors.* Basic computer skills.*Required Education:** Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.*Preferred Education:** Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher from an accredited, Board-approved program.*Required Certifications & Licensure:** RN License (Oklahoma or Multistate).* BLS through AHA.* ACLS through AHA.*For more details, please get in touch with us at +1 (412) ###-#### - Sujal Tomar.**#HC2025*Job Types: Travel nursing, ContractPay: $2,304.00 per weekBenefits:* Referral programMedical Specialty:* Medical-Surgical* TelemetryPhysical Setting:* Level I trauma centerSupplemental Pay:* Overtime payExperience:* Medical-surgical: 1 year (Required)License/Certification:* ACLS Certification (Required)* BLS Certification (Required)* RN License (Required)Shift availability:* Day Shift (Preferred)Ability to Relocate:* Oklahoma: Relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: On the road
