Med 100 is a 21 -bed Medical Unit with a population of CHF, COPD, Dialysis, wound care, and hospice patients. Patients have a longer length of stay on this unit so creating bonds with our patients is an amazing experience.*Responsibilities:** Provides safe, therapeutic care for patients using a relationship-based approach* Identifies the needs of patients and formulates or follows an individualized plan of care, including opportunities for patient and family education on managing their illness/injury* Conducts ongoing assessments of patients' conditions, documents, and reprioritizes care accordingly* Safely prepares, administers, and records prescribed medications* Analyzes situations for potential safety concerns and takes appropriate action to reduce or eliminate risks for harm* Maintains current knowledge of nursing information including policies, procedures, code of conduct, safety protocols, and infection prevention standards*About CoxHealth:*CoxHealth is a leading healthcare system serving 25 counties across southwest Missouri and northern Arkansas.
