Registered Nurse- Outpatient - Tandym Group : Job Details

A health-care organization in the Bronx is seeking a Registered Nurse to join their Patient Care Services team. This role focuses on providing high-quality patient care, ensuring safety, and incorporating cultural values into communication and service provision.

About the Opportunity:

• Schedule: Monday - Friday (8 AM - 4 PM)
• Interviews: Virtual or in-person options available

Responsibilities:The Registered Nurse will:

• Perform patient triage and organize daily huddles
• Maintain hand hygiene and infection control practices
• Obtain and document vital signs and specimens in the EMR
• Administer immunizations and medications
• Provide patient education and assist with procedures
• Obtain insurance approvals and perform diagnostic tests
• Participate in emergency drills and maintain BLS status
• Ensure patient care equipment is operational and attend scheduled meetings
• Deliver professional communication and excellent customer service

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school; BSN preferred
• Two years of clinical experience, preferably in an ambulatory setting
• NYS Registered Professional Nurse license
• Current BLS certification
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Physical ability to perform job duties, including standing for extended periods and lifting up to 30 pounds
