Registered Nurse - Outpatient Surgery PACU - Crouse Hospital : Job Details

The Outpatient Surgery PACU oversees patient monitoring, evaluation and care interventions of the pre and post surgical patients in a one day surgery center.A Registered Professional Nurse is responsible for the planning, implementing and evaluation of care for a given patient population with the established standards and practices of Crouse Hospital. This process is enacted through direct clinical practice, management of patient care and general professional duties.Education/Experience RequirementsRequired:Graduate of an accredited associate degreeOne (1) year Post Anesthetic Care or Critical Care experiencePreferred:Bachelor of Science in Nursing from accredited nursing program or higher degree*Bachelor's degree required within 8 years of being hired or those licensed after 2017.Licensure/Certification RequirementsRequired:Current New York State licensure as a Registered NurseBasic Life Support (BLS)Preferred:Certification in a specialty area.Critical Care NursingPALS required within six monthsACLS required within six monthsHourly Rate Range $33.00 - $47.86 Based on verified education and experience
